The present invention relates to a ceramic heater capable of suppressing crack of a ceramic heater, a glow plug, a method of manufacturing the ceramic heater and a method of manufacturing the glow plug. In at least one of the sections of a ceramic heater perpendicular to an axial direction, a first resistor cross section does not have a protrusion in a first inner portion in a contour of the first resistor cross section, and a first outer side in the contour of the first resistor cross section includes at least two protrusions. Otherwise, the method of manufacturing the ceramic heater includes a first step of molding a first green body, the first green body including first and second parts dimensioned to come into contact with a first inner portion of the contour of the first resistor cross section located on the side toward the second resistor cross section located on the side toward the second resistor cross section; a second step of molding, a resistor portion onto the first green body, to thereby form a second green body including the first green body and the resistor portion; and a third step of molding a remaining part onto the second green body to thereby form a third green body including the second green body and the remaining part. |
