PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a checker brick for an air heating furnace in which the heat transfer area of the checker brick is remarkably increased while suppressing the increase of the pressure loss in the checker brick.SOLUTION: Provided is a checker brick for an air heating furnace each stacked at the regenerator of an air heating furnace and composed of single brick having a hexagonal columnar outer form. At the inner wall faces of through holes 3a to 3g provided in the axial direction of the single brick, first projections 7 and first recesses 8 elongating to the flowing direction of hot wind and continuous in a circumferential direction are mutually formed, and a plurality of second projections 11a, 11b are formed at one side made by each first projection 7 and first recess 8. |
