PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a negative effect, on image data, of electromagnetic waves generated by wireless communication started with arbitrary timing, while executing the wireless communication.SOLUTION: A CIS reads an image of a document and outputs image data obtained as a result of reading to a CIS cable as an analog signal. The CIS cable is disposed in the vicinity of an NFC interface. After the CIS scans a prescribed number of lines, the scanning is stopped, and polling is executed a predetermined number of times from the NFC interface, and scanning is started again. If there is a mobile terminal which returns a signal in response to the polling, the scanning is stopped until completion of NFC-type data communication with the mobile terminal. |
