<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a couch structure including a backrest with seating comfortableness when seated, in which the backrest can be produced highly accurately in a simple configuration, and having fine external appearance of the entire structure including the back and an excellent design.SOLUTION: A couch structure includes a backrest 10 having: a top rail 17 stretched over between upper ends of approximately vertical right and left side frames 18 whose lower ends are formed as back leg parts 7; a cross rail 16 stretched over between middle parts of the right and left side frames 18, at a position spaced apart downward from the top rail 17; and a plurality of back plates 15 provided approximately vertical and spaced apart from each other in the horizontal direction, each of which is stretched over between the top rail 17 and the cross rail 16. Each back plate 15 includes: an upper-half plate 22 whose base end is fixed to the top rail 17 and whose tip end is extended diagonally downward toward a seat face 12, forming a backrest face 20; and a lower-half plate 21 whose base end is fixed to the cross rail 16 and whose tip end is extended diagonally upward and joined at a right angle to the tip end of the upper-half plate 22 with a finger joint 25, supporting the upper-half plate 22.</p> |
