PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a common rail type fuel injection system, which enables common rail pressure to be controlled by avoiding simultaneous drive of a pressure pump and a pressure reduction valve.SOLUTION: The control device of a common rail type fuel injection system includes first and second flow regulating valves 12E, F for regulating a discharge quantity of a pressure pump 12 which force-feeds fuel to a common rail 13, and a pressure reduction valve 18 for reducing common rail pressure. The control device further includes a first drive control part 21 which controls an electromagnetic drive part 32 of the second flow regulating valve 12F and an electromagnetic drive part 33 of the pressure reduction valve 18, and a second drive control part 22 which controls an electromagnetic drive part 31 of the first flow regulating valve 12E. The first drive control part 21 prohibits a drive instruction to the second flow regulating valve 12F when outputting a drive instruction to the pressure reduction valve 18. |
