PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with operational feeling when the user operates a touch panel with giving the user less discomfort as compared with operational feeling of button keys.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 10 includes: a touch panel 12; a pressure sensor 13 detecting a pressure applied to the touch panel 12; a vibration element 14; and a processor 11. The processor 11 determines whether the touch panel 12 is touched on the basis of a decrease rate of the pressure applied to the touch panel 12 per unit time. The processor 11 actuates the vibration element 14 if determining that the touch panel 12 is touched when the pressure is lower than a threshold during pressure decrease, and does not actuate the vibration element 14 if determining that the touch panel 12 is not touched.
