PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gauges that can easily identify the standards of a roller chain for use in motor-driven shutters or the like for architectural use.SOLUTION: As many gauges 9 to 14 as the number of roller chain standards are provided, and in the gauges 9 to 14, gauge grooves 9b to 14b into which rollers are to be fitted and gauge convexes 9c to 14c matching the sizes of spaces formed between adjoining rollers and the inner widths of links are formed at pitch intervals p. Out of these gauges 9 to 14, what exactly fits a roller chain can identify the standards of the roller chain.
