<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for carrying paper capable of: eliminating the skew state of the paper; surely moving the paper along a width direction of a carrying path without tearing the paper; and approaching a predetermined position.SOLUTION: A device 10 for carrying paper comprises: a carrying portion 20 to carry the paper while sandwiching along a carrying path 28; a stop part (for example, a stopper 32)to stop the paper carried by the carrying portion 20; and a position correction part 50 to move the paper to a predetermined position in a width direction of the carrying path 28 by pressing a side edge part in a width direction of the paper stopped by the stop part.</p> |
