<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more surely reduce power consumption of a data processing device with slack time constraint.SOLUTION: Data is sequentially inputted into a semiconductor device 100 at a predetermined sampling cycle. A small core 110 buffers N-pieces of data that are inputted, according to summarizing degree N that is predetermined. A large core 120 performs a predetermined process on the N-pieces of data that are inputted. A special determination circuit 150 selects, so that a non-active power quantity of the semiconductor device 100 becomes minimum, whether to constitute the small core 110 and the large core 120 as a layered structure or a non-layered structure, using sampling cycle, summarizing degree N, and break-even time of the large core 120 as parameters.</p> |
