PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersant which can significantly improve flowability of, e.g., an ink or paint containing pigments, prevent particle aggregation of the pigments, and enable production of colored articles exhibiting excellent gloss and clearness while preventing generation of debris.SOLUTION: A pigment dispersant contains a compound represented by the specified general formula (1) and a compound represented by the specified general formula (2).
