PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member excellent in low reflectance characteristics and dust-proof characteristics, and an imaging apparatus including the optical member.SOLUTION: A plurality of protrusions 102 having distances between their peaks of 50 nm or more and 600 nm or less are formed on a surface of a low refractive index layer 101 that is disposed on a substrate 100 and has a refractive index lower than a refractive index of the substrate 100. An occupied area ratio of an area, having a depth of 15 nm from the peak, among the peaks of the protrusions 102, farthest from the substrate 100 toward a direction of the substrate 100, is 40% or less. A minor axis of the protrusions 102, in a range having a depth of 5 nm or more and 15 nm or less from the peak, among the peaks of the protrusions 102, farthest from the substrate 100 toward the direction of the substrate 100, is 15 nm or more. |
