PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a salient pole ratio even under a high load without enlarging the physical constitution of a rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1 comprises a stator 2 and a rotor 3. The rotary electric machine 1 further comprises: a rotor core 20 including a plurality of magnetic pole parts 20B in a circumferential direction; a plurality of permanent magnets 21 provided in the rotor core 20; and a stator core 5 which includes a plurality of teeth 18 around which a coil wire 7 is wound, and configured in such a manner that, in a non-electrified state of the coil wire 7, the teeth 18 radially opposing the magnetic pole parts 20B are substantially magnetically saturated by the permanent magnets 21. For the stator core 5, a width W1 in a circumferential direction of the teeth 18 is set so as to substantially magnetically saturate the teeth 18 opposing the magnetic pole parts 20B. |
