<p>The present invention relates to an automatic ice maker for a refrigerator. The ice maker includes: an ice maker main body which is installed in the rear side of a freezer door and produces ice in a predetermined shape; an ice bank which is installed in the lower part of the ice maker main body and guides stored ice to the outside while storing ice produced from the ice maker main body; and an ice maker cover which surrounds the ice maker main body and the ice bank in order not to be exposed, wherein the ice maker cover has a lateral side coupling hole formed to attach and detach the ice bank from the lateral side. The present invention attaches and detaches the ice bank at an acute angle without a necessity for completely opening the freezer door and thereby is able to minimize the coldness loss of the freezer.</p> |
