This tailored blank for hot stamping has a weld zone formed by butt welding a first aluminum-coated steel sheet to a second aluminum-coated steel sheet, wherein: the average Al concentration of the weld metal in the weld zone is 0.3 to 1.5 mass%; the Ac3 temperature of the weld metal is 1250°C or lower; and an aluminum layer formed in the butt welding is present on the surface of the weld zone.
