#CMT# #/CMT# The generator (10) has an active microwave tube (12) comprising a cathode (22) and an anode (24). The cathode is adapted to emit electrons within a cavity (26) when the microwave tube is supplied with electric power. Waveguides (16, 18) are equipped with sealing units (20A, 20B) for sealing the waveguides to selectively oppose the supply and/or extraction of electromagnetic wave from the cavity.
