The present invention relates to a pulse accumulation device and a method for reducing a sidelobe level thereof, capable of reducing a sidelobe level by accumulating pulses using phase code waveforms having different types of sidelobe level properties. The method includes the steps of: selecting and matching K phase code waveforms from phase code waveforms having different types of sidelobe level properties; accumulating, in order, the matched K phase code waveforms; and comparing the accumulated phase code waveforms to detect a minimum sidelobe level.
