<p>The present invention relates to a device and a method to control the distribution of an output torque in a four-wheel-drive vehicle. According to the present invention, a mode switch to select an auto mode and a lock mode is added with an eco mode, and a control part outputs different torque values by controlling the driving of a coupling in accordance to the selection of each modes. More specifically in the eco mode, the control part controls the coupling such that a torque to compensate only a minimum wheel slip occurring when a vehicle is driven can be outputted. Therefore, in accordance to the present invention, the torque to only compensate the wheel slip in a slip occurring condition is generated, thereby preventing the generation of unnecessary torque and improve fuel efficiency.</p> |
