<p>The present invention relates to a method to produce silver coated copper powder applicable to a dispensing gasket for EMI shielding and, specifically, to a method to produce silver coated copper powder applicable to a dispensing gasket for EMI shielding using moisture curable silicone of a dendritic type containing 9-12% of silver (Ag) by plating copper powder with silver (Ag) by using a cyanide silver plating solution. According to the present invention, the method to produce silver coated copper powder applicable to a dispensing gasket for EMI shielding using moisture curable silicone comprises: a first step of injecting copper powder and pure water into a reaction vessel and dispersing the same; a second step of activating the surface of the copper powder to remove foreign substances on the surface of the copper powder, and to mount silver (Ag) ions on the surface of the copper powder; a third step of primary filtering and washing the copper powder activated in the second step; a fourth step of plating the primary filtered and washed copper powder with silver (Ag); a fifth step of secondary filtering and washing the silver coated copper powder plated with the silver (Ag); a sixth step of oxidation protective film processing the secondary filtered and washed silver coated copper powder; a seventh step of thirdly filtering and washing the silver coated copper powder which is oxidation protective film-processed; and an eighth step of drying the thirdly filtered and washed silver coated copper powder.</p> |
