The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a wick member for an AMTEC apparatus. The method may determine a plurality of porous sheets in a desired shape, laminate and compress the porous sheets to manufacture a plurality of wicks, which are installed inside an AMTEC and through which a metal fluid flows. The method also variously adjusts a pore rate of the wick manufactured according to an embodiment of a user, and solves a problem in detachment of connection parts of wicks by integrating the wicks in various shapes.
