STORAGE SYSTEM AND UFS SYSTEM CHANGING INTERFACE MODE IN ACTIVE STATE

A storage system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a host and a storage device. The host offers commands. The storage device is connected to the host through an interface; receives the commands from the host through the interface; calculates the standby time of the interface by using the operation time of a non-volatile memory; and offers standby time information to the host. The host changes the interface from an active mode to a low power mode based on the standby time information. The present invention is provided to change the interface into a low power mode during the standby time in the active state, thereby reducing power consumption.
