<p>The present invention relates to an LED lighting apparatus. The LED lighting apparatus comprises: a dimming control and an LED load unit which includes a plurality of LEDs connected in series; an AC-DC conversion unit which rectifies and smooths an input power, boosts a smoothed voltage in a boost method according to an on/off operation of an inductor and a switching device, outputs the smoothed voltage as a driving voltage of the plurality of LEDs, and outputs a control device which controls the on/off operation of the switching device to correct a power factor of the smoothed voltage by using a power factor correction circuit of an active method, and a driving power of the control device as a reference voltage of a constant-current unit which allows a certain current to flow in the plurality of LEDs; and a dimming input unit which outputs a dimming control voltage corresponding to a selected dimming level. The dimming control and LED load unit controls a current size flowing in the plurality of LEDs according to the dimming control voltage and controls dimming of the plurality of LEDs. According to the present invention, an AC-DC conversion is performed by using a boost method of a high output voltage without using a high-frequency transformer for a voltage drop, thereby remarkably improving a stable AC-DC conversion efficiency for an LED lighting and controlling dimming of an LED according to an input of the dimming control.</p> |
