According to an embodiment of the present invention, an autonomous driving robot comprises: an exploration module which provides exploration images by photographing the front view; at least one auxiliary module which is positioned in the back of the exploration module in order to support the movement of the exploration module; and a connection unit which connected the back of the exploration module with the front of the auxiliary module. The exploration module comprises: a camera which is mounted in the front end of the exploration module in order to photograph the front view of the exploration module; a sensor unit which is positioned on the bottom of the camera in order to identify the moving path of the exploration module; a moving unit which includes wheels for moving the exploration module; an up and down motor which is mounted at the back of the exploration module in order to rotate in a horizontal direction of the rotating direction of the moving unit, and where one end of the connection unit is mounted for connecting the auxiliary module; and a control unit which stores or outputs images photographed by the camera, and controls the operation of the sensor unit, the moving unit, the up and down motor, and the auxiliary module. The auxiliary module comprises: a left and right motor where the other end of the connection unit, connected to the up and down motor in the exploration module, is mounted, and which rotates in a vertical direction of the rotating direction of the moving unit in the exploration module; a moving unit which has the same composition as the moving unit in the exploration module and also operates the same; an up and down motor which has the same composition as the up and down motor in the exploration module and also operates the same; and a control unit which receives the operation of the exploration module from the control unit in the exploration module, and control to operate the same operation at a time interval.
