<p>The present invention relates to a battery management device for a vehicle, comprising: a vehicle information sensing unit to sense starting and driving states of a vehicle; a battery sensing unit to sense a temperature, a current, a voltage and a state of charge (SOC) of a battery; a control unit to enter a correction mode when the vehicle is started and is decelerated in the driving state, to calculate internal resistance of the battery when the vehicle enters the correction mode, and to correct the SOC and a state of health (SOH) of the battery using the internal resistance of the battery; a load control unit to control power consumption of an electric load according to a predetermined target current in correspondence to the correction mode; and an alternator to generate power according to a predetermined target voltage in correspondence to the correction mode.</p> |
