PURPOSE:To provide a twin sensor being loaded on a unit for measuring abrasion of a trolley wire mounted on a stringing work truck wherein the twin sensor follows up even two trolley wires having level difference well and measures abrasion of each trolley wire regardless of instantaneous contact loss thereof. CONSTITUTION:The twin sensor comprises two guide rollers 521a, 521b supported by vertical members 513a, 513b on the opposite sides of a parallel link mechanism 51 and follow up trolley wires 1-1, 1-2 while keeping contact therewith, and two sets of follow-up measuring sections 52A, 52B each comprising a light projecting section 522a disposed between the guide rollers in order to project a light beam having width corresponding to the instantaneous variation range of the height of trolley wire to the side faces of the trolley wires 1-1, 1-2, and an actinometric sensor 522 having a section 522b for receiving the transmitted light band. Each actinometric sensor 522 comprises a deformed prism for deflecting the direction of optical path. |
