<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methane gas decomposition apparatus which can decompose methane gas efficiently and continuously while preventing deposition of carbon.SOLUTION: A methane gas decomposition apparatus comprises: a methane gas supply part 1; a gas decomposition part 2 for decomposing methane gas into hydrogen and carbon; a carbon separation part 3 for separating carbon from a mixed gas containing hydrogen and carbon generated by decomposition of the methane gas, and methane gas which passed the gas decomposition part 2 without being decomposed; a hydrogen separation part 4 for separating hydrogen; and an unreacted gas supply part 5 for supplying methane gas after separation of hydrogen to the gas decomposition part 2. The gas decomposition part 2 has a first reaction tube 21 and a second reaction tube 22, and upstream sides of the first reaction tube 21 and the second reaction tube 22 are connected by a connection pipe 23.</p> |
