<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a manufacturer of an underwater acoustic sensor measures an orientation composite pattern for each combination of vibrators of a manufactured underwater acoustic sensor in order to provide a user with a directivity pattern of the underwater acoustic sensor, but there would be about 200 kinds of orientation composite patterns to be measured, if the number of vibrators comes up to about 60, and a huge amount of time would be required if measurement is taken for each combination.SOLUTION: A measurement device for an underwater acoustic sensor according to the present invention comprises: an echo-sounder transmitter for transmitting a test signal; a mechanism for disposing the underwater acoustic sensor at a prescribed position; a transmitter for generating the test signal; a device controller for operating the transmitter and the mechanism; a data controller for correlating position information about the underwater acoustic sensor from the device controller with a received signal including a plurality of pieces of vibrator data from the underwater acoustic sensor; a recorder for recording the position information and the received signal; and a computer for calculating a plurality of pieces of performance from the plurality of pieces of vibrator data of the recorder.</p> |
