In the present invention, a control unit of a plant equipment test device executes the following steps: a first step that acquires pre-update and post-update screen information; a second step that acquires a pre-update test item table file; a third step that compares pre-update screen information and post-update screen information, and extracts differences by separating the differences into added items and changed items; a fourth step that generates an added portion test item table file on the basis of the added items; a fifth step that generates a changed portion test item table file on the basis of the changed items and the pre-update test item table file; and a sixth step that merges the added portion test item table file and the changed portion test item table file to generate a post-update test item table file. |
