摘要 The invention is equipped with: a superconducting coil (140); a refrigerant container (130); a radiation shield (120); a vacuum container (110); a chiller (180) for cooling the radiation shield (120) and the interior of the refrigerant container (130); a tubular current lead (190) passing from the exterior of the vacuum container (110) into the interior of the refrigerant container (130) to constitute a flow path for gasified refrigerant (151), and electrically connected to the superconducting coil (140); a power source disposed outside of the vacuum container (110) and electrically connected to the current lead (190); a manometer (198) for measuring the pressure inside the refrigerant container (130); a thermometer (122) disposed inside the vacuum container (110) for measuring the temperature of the current lead (190); and a control unit (199) connected to each of the power source (193), the manometer (198) and the thermometer (122). The control unit (199) raises the output of the power source (193) to vary the value of the current flowing in the superconducting coil (140) only when the measurement value of the manometer (198) is at a set value or higher and the measurement value of the thermometer (122) is at a set value or lower.
