An eccentric contraction training apparatus comprises: a fixing portion fixing a patient joint portion and comprising a first portion and a second portion, which is connected to the first portion and in which the angle formed with the first portion changes according to the movement of the patient joint portion; an electrical stimulation pad applying electrical stimulation to the muscle of the patient joint portion to induce the patient joint portion to perform an eccentric contraction exercise; and an operation portion for operating the electrical stimulation pad. The eccentric contraction training apparatus induces the eccentric contraction exercise of the patient joint portion with a slow constant velocity, the eccentric contraction exercise with a slow constant velocity applies great muscular tension to an exercise portion in comparison with other exercises such as a concentric contraction exercise, and the eccentric contraction training apparatus can be effectively used for the rehabilitation of a patient with muscle paralysis.
