An array substrate and manufacturing method thereof, and a display device formed using the array substrate; the array substrate comprises a thin film transistor formed on a base substrate (201), a plurality of strip-shaped pixel electrodes (213) connected to the drain electrode (209) of the thin film transistor, and a common electrode (211) opposite to and insulating from the multiple strip-shaped pixel electrodes (213). The drain electrode (209) has an extension (209') extending in the direction where the multiple strip-shaped pixel electrodes (213) are arranged, and each strip-shaped pixel electrode (213) is connected to the extension (209').
