PURPOSE: To provide a device that causes no flaw to gasbags when automobile gasbag restraining systems are installed. CONSTITUTION: A cover plate 10 for gasbag restraining systems has a badge 12 bearing an emblem fixed on its front side. The badge 12 has a tubular rivet 14 which extends through the cover plate 10 and whose free terminal section is rolled over at the rear side of the cover plate 10. The rolled-over terminal section of the tubular rivet 14 is curved convexly and is directed toward the rear side of the cover plate 10. |
