PURPOSE:To sufficiently prevent nose dive upon braking while the stroke of a front wheel is sufficiently ensured during normal running other than braking. CONSTITUTION:A nose dive restraining device is composed of a leaf spring for suspending a front wheel, a shock absorber 28 for damping vibration of the leaf spring in follow-up to displacement of the front wheel relative to a vehicle body, a poppet valve 69 for adjusting the pressure side damping force of the shock absorber 28, and a solenoid valve 55 for controlling the poppet valve 69 so as to increase the pressure side damping force of the shock absorber 28 upon braking, and a brake switch 59. |
