PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain tensioner which reduces the number of components to simplify the assembly process, prevents displacement and backlash to stabilize chain travelling, and thereby reduces the occurence of wear and damage to improve the durability by using a simple structure.SOLUTION: A chain tensioner 100 includes a travel guide shoe 130 which is swingably supported by an arm part 120 provided at a tensioner body 110. A bearing part 140 of the travel guide shoe 130 includes: a fitting hole 141 which fits in a first shaft part 122 extending to one lateral side of a tip of the arm part 120; and a guide part 142 which is guided by a part of a second shaft part 123 extending to the other lateral side. A slit part 143 which is wider than the travel guide shoe 130 side of the arm part 120 is provided between the fitting hole 141 and the guide part 142. |
