PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time necessary for a radio communication device to connect with an access point device.SOLUTION: A radio communication device comprises: holding means for holding access point information indicating the identifier and communication range of an access point device; measuring means for measuring a position; and transmitting means for, in response to entering the communication range of an access point device included in the access point information held by the holding means, transmitting an inquiry signal to the access point device.
