PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, by targeting a carbon black-containing rubber masterbatch obtained by the wet masterbatch method, a rubber masterbatch excellent in terms of mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, flexural cracking resistance, etc. and usable favorably as rubbers for general industrial belts and/or vehicular tires. ! SOLUTION: The provided rubber masterbatch includes a rubber component derived from an emulsion-polymerized rubber latex and carbon black in a state where the content of an organic acid is 2.0 wt.% or less. This rubber masterbatch is obtained past a mixing step of mixing an emulsion-polymerized rubber latex and a carbon black dispersion at a pH of 1.0-6.0, a pH adjustment step of adjusting the pH of the dispersion at 8.0-13.5, and a separation step of separating a liquid from the mixed dispersion. !
