<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilting pad bearing which can reduce an oil leakage amount from a side edge of a slide face of a pad, and can reduce an oil feed amount to the slide face of the pad.SOLUTION: A tilting pad bearing device comprises: a plurality of journal pads 2 which are arranged in a circumferential direction of a rotating shaft 1 so as to oppose an external peripheral face of the rotating shaft 1; and a bearing housing 4 which supports a plurality of the journal pads 2 so as to be tiltable via a plurality of pivots 3. In the tilting pad bearing device, lubricant is supplied to slide faces 14 of the journal pads 2 via oil feed holes 5 formed at the journal pads 2. The slide faces 14 of the journal pads 2 have portions which are formed so that axial widths are increased as progressing toward the circumferential downstream side from an oil feed start position at which oil is fed to the slide faces 14 from the oil feed ports 5.</p> |
