PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical storage device and a method of manufacturing the electrical storage device which can suppress deterioration in the strength of welded portions due to blowholes.SOLUTION: The electrical storage device has: an electrical storage element including an external terminal having a first connection surface; a busbar having a second connection surface to be overlapped with the first connection surface; a first weld zone formed over the external terminal and the busbar in a region where the first connection surface and the second connection surface are opposite to each other; and a second weld zone formed over the external terminal and the busbar where the first connection surface and the second connection surface are opposite to each other, the second weld zone being overlapped with the first weld zone. The second weld zone is so formed that its center of welding is displaced from the center of welding of the first weld zone. The method of manufacturing the electrical storage device is also provided.
