PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular brake apparatus capable of accurately setting the operation characteristic of an electromagnetic valve disposed in a pipe conduit interconnecting a master cylinder and a wheel cylinder.SOLUTION: A vehicular brake apparatus includes: a first flow path for interconnecting a first electromagnetic valve and a wheel cylinder; a second flow path for interconnecting the first flow path and a reservoir part that is capable of reserving a brake fluid; and a second electromagnetic valve disposed in the second flow path. Further, differential pressure generation means executes advancing-control of causing drive-pressure generation means to advance a master piston so that a stroke position falls within an advance-side zone and then to move the master piston to generate given differential pressure, and second electromagnetic valve control means sets the second electromagnetic valve open in a period including a part of the period of executing the advancing-control.
