PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for the preparation of imaging.SOLUTION: A bed apparatus according to an embodiment comprises a top plate part, shape control parts, and a drive part. The top plate part includes: a movement base top plate; and a deformation top plate which is placed on the movement base top plate and is capable of curving a portion thereof from a flat shape. The shape control parts control the shape of the deformation top plate. The drive part moves the top plate part to an opening of a cradle apparatus that collects data used for medical imaging. The deformation top plate is composed of a plurality of segmented top plates divided at a certain interval and a deformation support part is attached to each segmented portion for fixing the deformation top plate to the movement base top plate. The shape control parts adjust the position of a specific deformation support part among the plural deformation support parts such that the location where the specific deformation support part is installed is a fixed point with respect to the movement base top plate.
