PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve combustion of an internal combustion engine in internal combustion engine operation control using gaseous fuel.SOLUTION: Injectors 21 serving as fuel injection means for injecting gaseous fuel are provided at an intake port of an engine 10. A controller 80 exerts a prolonged period injection control for prolonging a fuel supply period that is a period in which the gaseous fuel injected by the injectors 21 is supplied into a combustion chamber of the engine 10 to allow the injectors 21 to inject the gaseous fuel if the engine 10 operates in a normal operation range in which rotational speed is not higher than predetermined rotational speed, a load is not more than predetermined load, and use frequency is relatively high.
