PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing surely in particular, generation of a surface crack in the vicinity of a bend straightening point of a continuous casting machine, in continuous casting of steel.SOLUTION: In a continuous casting method for charging molten steel containing C as much as 0.08 mass% or more and below 0.80 mass% into a cast, and extracting a cast piece directly from the cast, cooling and recuperation are applied corresponding to the component composition of molten steel in a cooling process of the front side of a bend straightening point from just under the cast. |
