PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of treating a sample on a slide without using liquid with an excessive volume.SOLUTION: A dispenser 1540 moves on a side 1534, and dispenses reagent onto the slide 1534. When a roller unit 1520 is closed, cultivation is started with a desired volume, rotation distance, temperature and speed. The roller unit 1520 is able to stir the reagent by cyclically rotating. In some protocols, the surface of a platen assembly 1521 facing a test specimen rotationally moves in a longitudinal direction or a lateral direction with respect to the held slide 1534 to create a gap whose height is variable so that a fluid substance can be dispersed in the gap. |
