PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate checking of page duplication or page missing caused by image import.SOLUTION: A document-image camera system 1 includes: a page-turning device 3 for turning pages P of a book B; image-pickup means (a document-image camera 2) for picking up an image of a page turned by the page-turning device 3; identification means (operation means 42) for identifying a page-number portion Q from the image picked up by the image-pickup means; recognition means (a PC 4) for recognizing a page number by applying character recognition processing to the page-number portion Q identified by the identification means, recognizing the page number; determination means (the PC 4) for determining whether the page number recognized by the recognition means is normal; and notification means (the PC 4) for reporting of abnormality in the case of the determination means determining a sequence of the page number is abnormal. This facilitates checking of page duplication or page missing caused by image import. |
