<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic polyester fiber which contains an organic electrolyte in both the base polymer and an antistatic agent, exerts excellent antistatic performance even in a low-temperature, low-humidity environment and is high in toughness and its woven knitted fabric.SOLUTION: In an antistatic polyester fiber, a polyether ester amide type antistatic agent forms independent phases dispersed in a stripe form along the fiber axis, and the polyester fiber contains 0.05-10 wt.% of an organic electrolyte and 0.2-5 wt.% of the polyether ester amide type antistatic agent in the fiber and meets conditions: (1) the wt. blend ratio of the organic electrolyte is polyester phase: polyether ester amide type antistatic agent phase=5:95 to 99:1; and (2) the average diameter of the polyether ester amide type antistatic agent phase is 40-120 nm.</p> |
