PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for acquiring an information about a subject's hepatoma based on an analysis result obtained by analyzing a methylation state of DNA extracted from the subject's biological sample using a novel marker specific to hepatoma.SOLUTION: The invention relates to acquiring an information about a subject's hepatoma based on an analysis result obtained by analyzing a methylation state of a CpG site existing in the promoter region of at least one gene selected from CELF6 and RNF135 which are comprised in DNA extracted from the subject's biological sample.
