This hydraulic circuit (C) that controls a continuously variable transmission is provided with: a lubrication line (13) to which a lubrication pump (11) is provided and that supplies oil (OL) from an oil tank (3) to a lubrication subject (2) by means of the lubrication pump (11); a high pressure line (19) to which a high pressure pump is provided and that, branching from the lubrication line (13) and by means of the high pressure pump (15), supplies high pressure oil to an oil pressure control unit (H) that controls the oil pressure of the oil supplied to the continuously variable transmission; and a cooling return line (21) that branches from the high pressure line (19), returns oil in the lubrication line (13) to downstream of the lubrication pump (11), and of which a portion forms a cooling pathway of a generator (GE) connected to the continuously variable transmission (1).
