Disclosed are a control method, device and system for video playing. The method comprises: a video monitoring platform respectively pushing one or more video streams with the same time period to a plurality of clients in an observation group; receiving the receiving speeds of the one or more video streams of the client which are respectively sent to a video playing control unit of the video monitoring platform regularly by the plurality of clients and a cache value of the video stream; the video playing control unit of the video monitoring platform adjusting the pushing speed of the video stream according to the receiving speed and the cache value; and the video monitoring platform pushing the video stream to the client according to the pushing speed for the client to play same. By means of the method, the present invention can realize synchronous playback of multiple clients and cooperatively consulting video information about multiple cameras where a case happens. By means of synchronous playback of multiple videos, key information about a case can be grasped quickly and efficiency of handling a case is improved. |
