PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device that can achieve both of the compactness and good design, and the accurate measurement of an external environmental value.SOLUTION: A telephone set 1, which is an example of a communication apparatus, includes a cabinet 2 for housing a communication device and a control device, and a cable 5 that extends to the outside via an outer surface of the cabinet 2 and that is for electrically connecting a sensor 6A for measuring an environmental value with the control device. The cable is able to be switched between a first state (5-1) in which the sensor 6A is at a position away from the outer surface of the cabinet 2 to an outside direction by bending the cable, and a second state (5-2) in which the sensor 6A is at a position closer to the cabinet 2 than the first state. |
