PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve manufacturing efficiency of a laminate ring.SOLUTION: A laminate ring manufacturing method includes: a welding step of forming a cylindrical pipe by welding ends of steel plates; a ring cutting step of cutting out plural rings 23 by cutting a pipe at predetermined width in a direction orthogonal to an axial core; a polishing step of polishing the rings 23; a circumferential length adjusting step of respectively adjusting the plural rings 23 to defined circumferential length; a nitriding step of nitriding the plural rings 23; and an assembly step of combining the plural rings 23 to be laminated into a laminate ring. After the rings 23 are cut out from the pipe, each of the rings is polished so that an order is not changed. Even during nitriding, the rings are nitrided while they are set to a jig to maintain the order. In the assembly step, the rings 23 are assembled so that the rings that are portions adjacent to each other while they are parts of a pipe, are adjacent layers of laminate rings 12A, 12B. |
