<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of suppressing image deletion and suppressing ghost.SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic photoreceptor including: a photoconductive layer; and a surface layer provided on the photoconductive layer and formed out of amorphous SiC hydride, a ratio (C/(Si+C)) of an atomic number (C) of carbon atoms to a sum of an atomic number (Si) of silicon atoms and the atomic number of the carbon atoms on the surface layer is not less than 0.50 and not more than 0.60; a sum of atomic densities of the silicon atoms and the carbon atoms on the surface layer is not less than 6.60×10atoms/cm; an infrared absorption spectrum of the surface layer satisfies that I/Iis not less than 0.08 and not more than 0.15, and that I/Iis not less than 0.03 and not more than 0.06, where a maximum value of absorbance at a peak resulting from bond of Si-C is I, a maximum value of absorbance at a peak resulting from bond of Si-Hn is I, and a maximum value of absorbance at a peak resulting from bond of C-Hn is I.</p> |
